【摘要】:1Thisguidedefinespossiblesourcesoferrorindosimetryperformedingamma,x-ray(bremsstrahlung)andelectronirradiationfacilitiesandoffersproceduresforesti-matingtheresultingmagnitudeoftheuncertaintiesinthemeasurementresults.Basicconceptsofmeasurement,esti-mateofthemeasuredvalueofaquantity,"true"value,erroranduncertaintyaredefinedanddiscussed.Componentsofuncertaintyarediscussedandmethodsaregivenforevalu-atingandestimatingtheirvalues.Howthesecontributetothestandarduncertaintyinthereportedvaluesofabsorbeddoseareconsideredandmethodsaregivenforcalculatingthecombinedstandarduncertaintyandanestimateofoverall(expanded)uncertainty.Themethodologyforevalu-atingcomponentsofuncertaintyfollowsISOprocedures(see2.3).Thetraditionalconceptsofprecisionandbiasarenotused.Examplesaregiveninfiveappendixes.2Thisguideassumesaworkingknowledgeofstatistics.Severalstatisticaltextsareincludedinthereferences(1,2,3,4).3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappro-priatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplica-bilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
