【摘要】:ThispartofISO/IEC9798specifiesfourentityauthenticationmechanismsbasedonmanualdatatransferbetweenauthenticatingdevices.AsdescribedinAnnexesAandB,thesemechanismsmaybeusedtosupportkeymanagementfunctions;guidanceonsecurechoiceofparametersforthemechanismsisprovidedinAnnexC.Suchmechanismsmaybeappropriateinavarietyofcircumstances.Onesuchapplicationoccursinpersonalnetworks,wheretheowneroftwopersonaldevicescapableofwirelesscommunicationswishesthemtoperformanentityauthenticationprocedureaspartoftheprocessofpreparingthemforuseinthenetwork.
