【摘要】:Thisguideisforuserevaluation,selection,specification,andapplicationofstretchwrapmaterials.Itmaybeusedbetweenthebuyerandsellertoarriveatpurchasespecifications.Specificmethodsarecontainedwithinthebodyoftheguideformaterialevaluation,userperformance,andqualityassurancetesting.Caremustbeexercisedinextrapolatingtestvaluesobtainedbyuseofthetestmethodsoutlinedinthisguide,toactualfieldperformance.1.1Thisguidecoversrecommendedguidelinesandtestmethodsfortheselection,specification,anduseofstretchwrapfilmsforunitizing,reinforcing,andpalletizingforindoorenvironments.Thiscanincludestorageortransport,orboth,inwarehouses,closedcontainerssuchastrucktrailersorrailboxcars,andassociatedtransferterminals.Thisguidedoesnotcovertheperformanceissuesassociatedwithoutdoorexposure.1.2Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.A1.1.1Thistestmethodisintendedtobeusedasameansofcomparingthewrappingperformanceofstretchwrapfilms.
