【摘要】:Drytonersforuseinelectrostaticcopiersandprintersarenormallyfree-flowingpowdersatroomtemperatures.Theyareoftenformulatedtofuseatelevatedtemperaturesaspartoftheelectrostaticprintingandcopyingprocess.Thespecifictemperatureatwhichfusingtakesplacehasimplicationsofprematurechangeinthephysicalcharacteristicsofagiventoner,definedasblockingorcaking.Thisisundesirable,butcanresultwhenthedrytonerissubjectedtotemperaturesintherangeofitsfusingpointduringconditionsoftransport,storage,orlocalhandling;aswellastotheenvironmentalparametersinagivenlocationaftertheproductisintroducedandheldforuseinthemachinereservoiritself.1.1Thispracticecoversthedeterminationofthetemperatureatwhichadrytonerwillcakeasstoragetemperaturesareraised.1.2Incertaincasestheeffectsofpressureorpressurecombinedwithheatcancauseblockingandcakingofadrytoner.Thisrecommendedpracticedoesnotprovideforevaluationofsuchpressureeffects.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyproblems,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
